While studying art and art history at Pepperdine University, Jason was inspired by Michelangelo’s Piazza at Capitoline Hill, and was intrigued that the talents of one of the greatest Renaissance artists crossed over into the realm of architecture. This realization led Jason to pursue a Master’s degree in Architecture at Texas A&M University where he learned to develop creative ideas through technical training. Jason decided to name his Parent company after the project that inspired him to pursue his passion.
While in architecture school, a developer took interest in one of Jason’s conceptual designs and commissioned a house in the sustainable Serenbe Community outside of Atlanta. Upon graduating, Jason joined Boto Design in Santa Monica California, where he gained exposure to a wide range of project types such as recording studios, high-end residences, and creative office spaces. He later established a satellite office for Boto Design in Aspen, leading residential and restaurant projects. More recently, Jason worked with designers Anthony Agriam and Sam Marshall in Venice CA, where he completed Gjelina Take-Away, Laurel Hardware, and Gjusta. In 2015, he worked as the senior designer on Nobu in Newport Beach.
Other interests include, art, photography, cycling, surfing, and socializing. Since 2001, Jason has worked as a recurrent ocean lifeguard with the Los Angeles County Fire. Dept.
Jason currently sits on the City of Santa Paula's Planning Commission.
