Located outside Palmetto, Georgia, Serenbe is widely recognized as an exceptional example for sustainable community development; complete with a 25 acre farm. The principal of Herber Design was involved in the initial planning of the community in a studio course at architecture school and later went on to design a contemporary live / work unit within the arts district of the community. The lower level commercial floor engages passers-by on the street while the upper level residence utilizes large outdoor patios for views of the surrounding scenery.
